Maxcraft Avionics is now fully relocated and open for business in their own, new, world class, 18,000 sq ft maintenance facility at Pitt Meadows Airport.
New Location Features
- Purpose built facility specifically designed to enable efficient avionic installations, repairs and general maintenance.
- Hangar doors are large enough to accommodate most large helicopters, business jets, turbo props and other general aviation aircraft. (69.5 feet wide x 22 feet tall - clear)
- Spacious shops well equipped to repair avionics, instruments and electrical components.
- Climate controlled shops, offices and stores. (Seven energy efficient heat pumps are utilized)
- Hangar is equipped with a five ton overhead crane for simultaneous aircraft maintenance work.
- Direct access to the main 4700 foot runway via a new code B taxi lane.
- Direct easy access by road from Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford and the US border via the new Golden Ears bridge.
- Improving access from Vancouver via the all new Pitt River bridge which is scheduled to open by November 2009
- Less than 30 minutes to the US border via the Golden Ears Bridge & Hwy 15.
- Easy seaplane access via the airport's float plane ramp on the Fraser River.
