{"id":399,"date":"2012-03-12T17:57:45","date_gmt":"2012-03-13T00:57:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maxcraft.ca\/blog\/?p=399"},"modified":"2012-03-12T17:57:45","modified_gmt":"2012-03-13T00:57:45","slug":"luxembourg-and-a-bell-412","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.maxcraft.ca\/blog\/luxembourg-and-a-bell-412\/","title":{"rendered":"Luxembourg and a Bell 412"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Off to Luxembourg!!!<\/h1>\n<p>Wow, how exciting!\u00c2\u00a0 On request, we sent one of our staff, Ali Miri, an experienced Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer,\u00c2\u00a0to go work on a Bell 412.<\/p>\n<p>Ali had the pleasure of flying into this beautiful country, which neighbors Belgium,France and Germany, and experience Luxembourg for the first time. Some interesting facts: \u00c2\u00a0its home to over 450,000 residents; has foreign residents representing more than a third of the Luxembourg Population and Luxembourg residents have the highest income per capita of any country in the world.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00c2\u00a0Ali was able to give us a little of his story:<\/h2>\n<p><em>I left Vancouver Wednesday night and\u00c2\u00a0arrived on a Thursday evening into Luxembourg\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Findel Airport.\u00c2\u00a0 Whilst their national airline flies to 21 European destinations,\u00c2\u00a0there are no direct flights between North America and Luxembourg.\u00c2\u00a0 My flight was about 14 hrs long with a stop at London Heathrow Airport.<\/em><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_408\" style=\"width: 251px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/maxcraft.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Packing-for-Liberia.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-408\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-408\" title=\"Packing for Liberia\" src=\"http:\/\/maxcraft.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Packing-for-Liberia-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"241\" height=\"156\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-408\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Packing for Liberia<\/p><\/div>\n<p><em>I was asked to work on \u00c2\u00a0the GPS system in\u00c2\u00a0<em>a Bell 412 Helicopter to fix<\/em>.
