Maverick Aviation Group Limited Acquires Genaire Ltd.
EDMONTON, AB, May 1, 2026 – Maverick Aviation Group Limited (“Maverick” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Genaire Ltd. (“Genaire”), a Canadian aerospace company with over 70 years of history supporting both military and commercial aviation operators.
This acquisition marks a significant expansion of Maverick’s capabilities into fuel cell and ground service equipment (“GSE”) repair and sales. In addition, Maverick will assume Genaire’s role as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), producing Twin Otter skis and pallets for the C-130 Hercules—critical components supporting Canada’s aviation infrastructure and defense operations.
Founded in Ontario, Genaire has built a longstanding reputation as a trusted partner to the Department of National Defence and commercial aviation customers across Canada.
Genaire will also serve as Maverick’s Eastern Canadian platform for expansion, providing a strategic foothold to grow the Company’s presence beyond Western Canada and enabling enhanced national service coverage for both defense and commercial customers.
