Garmin Open House

Garmin hosted an Open House Event at their facility located at the Salem Airport in Oregon on September 14th. Steve Nunn (Director of Business Development) and Jim Immler (Pilot Ambassador) made the flight down to KSLE to attend and show off some of Maxcraft’s work.

Garmin’s Open House Event is a free event for both aviators and Garmin dealers. Featuring factory tours, product demonstrations, and seminars, the Garmin Open House attracts pilots from all over the Pacific Northwest. Ending the night with a catered dinner, and door prizes, this year’s Open House was a huge success.

Maxcraft had the opportunity to meet with Garmin representatives, along with pilots and aircraft owners to discuss their options for maximizing their avionics. Along with providing a safe and efficient flight from BC to Oregon, Jim’s Cessna 182 was put on display by Garmin to show off some of their top of the line avionics. This isn’t the first time Jim’s 182 has been paraded around by Garmin, at the 2019 EAA Airventure Oshkosh C-FHUX was front and center in front of Garmin’s tent. You can read more about Jim’s aircraft and his Airventure display here.
